The FindaBailiff directory is designed to help you quickly locate a local bailiff in England and Wales, or a debt recovery specialist firm in Scotland.

Our aim

FindaBailiff is all about delivering useful information to buyers, both commercial and private, to allow you to make an informed choice about suppliers of private investigation services.

Our quality promise

FindaBailiff will only accept entries from bailiffs and debt recovery firms that operate within the law.

In response to the Information Commissioner report ‘What price privacy?’ FindaBailiff will not accept entries from firms found guilty of Section 55 Data Protection Act offences.

In England and Wales only Certificated Bailiffs may advertise.

In Scotland only Debt Recovery firms may advertise.

When licensing is introduced in the UK we will only accept entries from appropriately licensed bailiff and debt recovery firms.

Our history

2003 the FindaDetective private investigator directory was launched.

2011 the FindaBailiff debt recovery directory was launched.

Dispute Resolution Service

Please note: FindaBailiff does not provide a dispute resolution service. If you have a dispute with an advertiser you must take this up with that company. If the company is a member of an Association then contact that Association, as many of them have a dispute resolution service.
